Lawrence Economic Development Corporation
The Lawrence Economic Development Corporation (LEDC) is a non-profit Community Improvement Corporation (CIC) formed under Chapter 1724, Ohio Revised Code.
The Lawrence Economic Development Corporation was formed in 1983 and was designated the economic development agent for the City of Ironton and Lawrence County. The goal of the agency is job creation and retention.

The Lawrence Economic Development Corporation administers a city and county-wide revolving loan fund, as well as a Regional 166 revolving loan fund. The LEDC is directed by a Board of Trustees, composed of local elected officials and local business leaders.
